Boiling Acetone or Water at Room Temperature
Description: A sample of water or acetone is placed in a round bottom flask with few glass beads or boiling chips. The flask is connected to a Vacuum pump, and the gas is removed from the flask, lowering the pressure. After a few minutes, the liquid begins to boil.
