Acid/Base Wand

 

Description: A long glass tube is filled almost full of Universal Indicator solution.  A few drops of 0.02M HCl is added to one end and stopper, and a few drops of 0.02M NaOH is added to the other end. The tube is inverted a few times to see all universal indicator colors.
